"Jose wants to sign a new left and right over the next two transfer windows. [james ducker] #mufc"

I'd be amazed if he didn't want that.

1.) 28 Nov 2017 16:36:53
James Ducker, mystic bloody Meg. Lol.

2.) 28 Nov 2017 17:20:07
I asked him for the lottery numbers. He said its 6 numbers between 1-59.

3.) 28 Nov 2017 17:31:57
The predictions of a man named James Ducker
Are obvious even to a sucker
Jose wants to sign
Two players, that's fine
Now bring it on Pep you mother-f.

4.) 28 Nov 2017 17:32:19
I know, Jose what's a left-back and right sided forward. No sh! t haha.

5.) 28 Nov 2017 22:59:58
RWWD is the winner of this weeks best post 🤣.

Qatari Royal family trying to buy Manchester United apparently. Be very surprised if Glazers sold without legacy bonuses or whatever.

1.) 02 Sep 2017 20:42:44
Old story doing the rounds from 2011. i think the glazers will see through one more round of tv deals at least before selling.

2.) 02 Sep 2017 21:05:14
Yes I have no doubt this is regurgitated news. And I think with Brexit we will have the Glazers for many more years. Just my opinion.

3.) 03 Sep 2017 02:43:49
Surely Brexit and the resulting weak pound makes it a more attractive proposition? Or would it be purchased in dollars as it's listed on the NYSE?

4.) 03 Sep 2017 09:10:58
Unless after seeing how transfer fees have gone this year they don't want to be spending 300 million every summer.

5.) 03 Sep 2017 11:40:55
USD probably going to be smashed soon, (already getting hammered), so whilst GBP and USD are weak it may be an opportune time for a deal. Especially with Qatar sanctions and other geo-political problems emerging in Qatar they may want to act quickly to secure more solid overseas assets that aren't dependent on natural gas for example.

6.) 03 Sep 2017 13:14:44
Im sure Ed002 mentioned maybe 18 month back that the Glazers were actually looking to sell around now, can any of the Eds confirm this?

{Ed002's Note - The exchange rate has shelved plans most foreign owners had for selling for now.}

20 Aug 2017 22:57:23
Ibrahimovic to sign next week, but Lukaku to remain the main striker.

This would indicate he'll be fit before January.

1.) 21 Aug 2017 06:26:47
Did the ed not say the return of ibra would mean the end of martial?

2.) 21 Aug 2017 08:14:11
I don't think Martial and Ibra play in the same position. I do think Martial and Rash are strikers, but will be used as wingers, so that leaves Lukaku as our only striker. It make sense to have at least 2 natural strikers.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 12:30:38
I don't see how, Martial will continue to operate from the wide left and Jose has said what a change there has been in Martial.

4.) 23 Aug 2017 13:52:14
wouldn't be the end and is quite laughable to even suggest it.
Ibra is purely another option as he isn't like the other strikers we have.

20 Aug 2017 19:19:12
Ibra to sign next week. Lukaku will remain first choice.

Does this mean he's back sooner than first thought?

1.) 20 Aug 2017 21:05:14
I hope he is 2nd choice and his ego doesn't demand a starting spot, we look miles more fluid and dangerous on the counter without him.

2.) 20 Aug 2017 21:17:29
Agreed, not a bad player to have on the bench though. And the other players love him so he is no problem in the dressing room. Not this one anyway. We already have a massive team, imagine chucking him and Fellaini on for set pieces when we need a goal. Along with all the other tall lads in the side.

3.) 20 Aug 2017 22:52:39
Great news. can't have too many winners knocking about the place. i'm sure he has been made aware of the pecking order. The players do appear to love him and what he brings. It also gives us a more like for like replacement if lukaku gets injured so we won't have to alter the way we play.
He brings a lot to the camp and is a good example for the young lads to follow. A great option off the bench he scores goals.

4.) 20 Aug 2017 23:49:22
I woulsnt want him if it means we will lose Martial.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 03:49:44
Could he play 10 behind Lukaku? Could push Miki back out wide again. Can't see Ibra sitting on the bench when fit.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 06:23:02
Look a better team with out him.

7.) 21 Aug 2017 07:50:50
I think resigning him is okay if its about squad rotation. i would not want to see rash or martial's place compromised in the line up as we lose a lot of our speed and things slow down when ibra is in the line up.

I think if we sign him it will be on our terms.

8.) 21 Aug 2017 08:50:14
Push Mikki back out wide? Is that the Mikki that has four assists in two games playing centrally, won German league player of the year playing number 10 in a non Bayern Munich team and is far less effective as a wide player?

9.) 21 Aug 2017 09:37:49
Can't argue with that Man from Manc. Miki has looked immense in his actual position. Funny that.

10.) 21 Aug 2017 12:06:27
I agree completely that Miki is best played centrally. I would not change the starting line up right now, other than maybe a wide right player for Mata. Or a fully fit and on form Shaw at left back.

I was just suggesting where Jose might play Ibra of he is back fit. I think he will start more games than not.

11.) 21 Aug 2017 12:18:32
I don't think Zlatan coming back will have any impact on Martial. Martial hasn't played up front under Jose. We're short on numbers on out and out strikers. This is a welcomed addition!

11 Aug 2017 22:48:19
Bruno Amorim, another Bebe type signing?

1.) 11 Aug 2017 23:28:56
Think its more for the under 23s than the first team.

2.) 12 Aug 2017 06:12:30
Sydney. Good to c u again posting regularly. Done with your sabbatical?

3.) 12 Aug 2017 11:36:14
Why not? Mendes hasn't flogged is a player for a while. Lol.

José's pragmatic, playing for 0.0 draw, boring football which guarantees results.

How we have played since going 2.0 down is exactly how we could have played over 180 minutes if our world class players weren't restricted to playing like Stoke City.

1.) 13 Mar 2018 21:55:27
I don't agree. Stoke played better than this at Home.

17 Dec 2017 13:27:31
Line-up as expected, perhaps bar Jones and Smalling partnership. Should be fine given WBA struggle to score goals at the moment. We'll see.

1.) 17 Dec 2017 16:22:52
Well done to the boys another tough away fixture and 3 points.

The bein sports crew who are never that complimentary of us were saying that if it were not for city united are 3 ahead of Chelsea the defending champions and 9 ahead of Arsenal and people who are criticizing them are not being realistic given City's run.

They also said it was very easy after City's result yesterday to have a let down when many pundits thought Spurs could put a stop to the winning streak and Jose will be delighted.

2.) 17 Dec 2017 16:36:16
We did make it more interesting than perhaps we should have done. It's very frustrating having to watch us rely on defence like that, holding on against a team like West Brom. I can understand why people might look on it negatively but a win's a win and we're on pace for 86 points and over 80 goals. There's not many who would have declined that in advance of the season. It's only relative to City's phenomenal start that it looks somewhat paltry.

13 Dec 2017 19:13:51
With Miki on the transfer list (so to speak), like many on here suspected. Is it making way for Oezil?

1.) 13 Dec 2017 19:41:19
I'm hoping Bale or Griezzmann personally, Oezil is very good but the other two are great and we need great signings right now.

2.) 13 Dec 2017 19:49:17
Bale on loan with option to buy. Doubt it's possible, but they don't really need him.

3.) 13 Dec 2017 19:57:54
I'm hoping for Dybala. He could be our version of Sanchez/ Aguero style player.

4.) 13 Dec 2017 20:06:08
If he wants to sign a couple then he has to let a couple go and to balance the books, wages squad size etc etc. It may not be a like for like positional wise. He may think that with jessie and mata we are covered for miki's preferred role and sign a full back or midfielder. But it does look like miki is available and i can understand why jose may want to sell him.

5.) 13 Dec 2017 21:31:15
I would rather have somebody who could fill pogba's shoes if he is not playing as cover/ play alongside as he is the player we miss the most. As for bale no thanks too injury prone, cost etc. why waste money on someone who is more than likely not going to be available for selection. Milinkovic-savic is the player we want though cannot see it happening in january.

13 Dec 2017 19:05:25
Shaw, McT and Jones start tonight.

1.) 13 Dec 2017 19:12:09
hope Mct has a blinder really good opportunity to do himself justice in a must win game, could be a good player from the little i have seen from him and hope Shaw as well plays well Lukaku to end goal draught.

2.) 13 Dec 2017 19:21:57
I want a Lukaku hat-trick tonight. Shaw to assist two of them.

{Ed025's Note - romelu is good against the lesser lights syd so you could be right, its a pity he cant do it against the better teams mate...#flat track bully..

3.) 13 Dec 2017 19:35:28
025 - True mate.

4.) 13 Dec 2017 19:50:34
Great news. Really high hopes for him. He has the world at his feet very few get this opportunity even fewer make the most of it. He has to be over the moon.

13 Dec 2017 18:35:33
Angel Gomes signs first professional contract with MU.

1.) 13 Dec 2017 18:59:01
get in, so happy he stayed would be gutted to see the lad anywhere else could be the missing piece at 10 as early as next season.

2.) 13 Dec 2017 18:59:25
Just read that Sydney, great news

Now he has to earn a chance.

3.) 13 Dec 2017 19:11:17
Buzzing when I heard guys. I think we will see bits of him next season.

4.) 13 Dec 2017 19:23:36
Syd has he got a calendar coming out then and what bits of him are you hoping to see 😁😁😁.

5.) 13 Dec 2017 19:44:18
Lol, God I wish I phrased that different.

If Rashford had a run of games he'd be deadly. Rojo, Martial, Jones, Smalling, Shaw have all shown how important stability is being picked to start game after game. Like I said I think if Rashford had started every game this season, he'd be just behind Salah and Kane in goals.

It's a world cup year and club will be worried about burn out.

Rashford has everything in a player. At 20 he can play anywhere along the front of attack. He is big, strong, fast, skillful, can score free kicks, long shot screamers. Great heading ability. Most of all he's fearless. Decision making comes with age and experience. Nani never managed to figure it out. Rashford is just 20. Henry at 20 was nothing special. Drogba nothing special. Rashford is already doing great and he's got many years to improve. No chance MU would get rid of him even if Jose wanted that. He'd be overruled. Martial would go before Rashford.

It's difficult being a bit part player. If Rashford started every game as centre forward instead of Lukaku, I believe he'd have a higher goals tally than Lukaku right now.

I don't believe he'll be sold at all. Just being careful with him. He'll go far and get his chances.

I had no doubt all the players mentioned would either be given one year or sold. Wrongly or rightly it's what we do here. Certainly be more than just two coming in during the summer. Despite what Jose says.

I think Darmian would raise a tidy amount, he's a decent fullback in Italian terms. Blind due to his utility is also another decent player.

We scrape a lot of wins. When was the last time we played even once like City and won convincingly? It's not like we don't have the talent in the team. Imagine Pep with the likes of Martial, Rashford, Sanchez etc. There are fractions within MU who know Jose is not the right man. But issue is the guy they wanted is managing our neighbours. Playing proper football.

Josè has spent a lot of money and we set up against a very average Sevilla, like we were playing Barcelona under Pep at the Camp Nou defending a 2.0 lead. Truly embarrassing and the manager got it very very wrong. These are the tactics a massive underdog will play. They were the underdogs, not us. Jose has been slammed by the media and rightly so. You could tell by his lame 12 minute rant that he knows he got it wrong. Sadly this will continue under Jose, wrong manager long-term for us. But probably the best stop-gap option that was available. He's already falling out with players and we seen this at Chelsea. Imagine being Sanchez, Pogba etc and being told to defend all game. Not to push forward and protect a 0.0. I said the same when we played Liverpool last year. They were there for the taking and we were cowards playing a cowardly manager's cowardly tactics.

I'm hoping we can get our stability back and then employ the correct manager who plays the way we play. Pointless buying the likes of Sanchez when we are not letting them flourish. Such a Pity.

Plays for 0.0 when we should have been going to Sevilla and looking for goals like Liverpool got at Porto. All these top notch players and all restricted from playing their own way. Even Sanchez cannot shine under Jose. Doubt Messi would either. It's not the players, it's the style of play. Imagine SAF with these players.

I think it may be a 433 with Lingard being the legs in midfield. Could well be wrong. However if this is the case, then that's two spots Pogba could be occupying but is missing out sitting on the bench. Jose not rushing him into the team since their falling out. Still showing who's boss. Ever since Sanchez was signed and the rumours about Pogba wanting a wage rise surfaced, Pogba hasn't looked interested. Something tells me if he got a new and improved deal, we'd see a quality Pogba again. Sadly he's one of them types I feel.
