Hi guys, Everton fan in peace, just wondered what the general consensus is on this question:

Would you swap Moyes for Martinez

As I said just coming in peace and not here to slag anyone off

Cheers

1.) 24 Sep 2013
No - hate Martinez

2.) 24 Sep 2013
Nope, I wouldn't. Moyes, who was able to keep Everton in the top 10 in the league for 10 years with one of the most riddiculously tight budget is not considered to have enough experience to replace Ferguson. How is Martinez good enough?

Klopp, Conte, Ancelotti, Guardiola and Mourinho are better candidates imo, with AVB and Moyes right behind

3.) 24 Sep 2013
No I wouldn't swap him personally

4.) 24 Sep 2013
Yes, let's do it.

5.) 24 Sep 2013
NO!

Moyes' gave you more success than you deserved, given the fact that your chairman is a right tight ba.tard.

With the teams you have had in the past, you should have been relegation fodder, and not challenging for CL spots.

That is just my take on the matter. Some of your fans' seem to have short memories.

Currently no, but I do rate Martinez very highly. I just think he needs prove himself alittle more before he'd be ready for a club our size. Tactically he I very good, and he is excellent at bringing on young talent, my only worry is whether he has that fight, that agression, that nastiness needed to manage at the highest level. He just comes across too nice at times.

You sound like a real nice guy Samthered, you can see why some fans get annoyed with personalities like your.

I now feel so lucky that our club even exists never mind is in the prem league, thanks for showing me the light

Agree with Shappy's assessment. He seems too focussed on praising his players when they need a rollocking.

However he may be doing the opposite in the changing room. Look at where outward nastiness got Mr. Di Canio. None of us really know what Martinez is like in the changing room, but I like him, he is clever and a great manager for Everton, maybe in a few years he will lift it a notch to a Champions League club, one of the best young managers in the game I think.

before moyes joined you bet you never rated him alongside mourinho and ancelotti and relegation fodder? yes our players were awful I mean not like tomas graveson jumped in the real madrid team, that nigel martyn was poor, tim cahill tuh couldn't win a header to save his life, arteta couldn't pass a cold, joleon lescott is just I mean not like he won the league alongside vincent kompany is it oh and how can we forget the awful duncan ferguson what a sh*thouse he was I mean he couldn't head a cult never mind a ball, grow up mate relegation fodder if hey are relegation players then what does that make some of the crap in your team like cleverley and young {Ed007's Note - ROFLMFAO @ even mentioning Gravesen and Duncan Disorderly! Two absolutely awful players, that's an epic fail mate, epic.}

awww ed you seem like a big kid who thinks someones sweets are not as nice as yours how cute except you did it in the cap lock sort of way using lmfao etc etc but hey moyes liked them and considering he is up there with guardiola and mourinho (so the utd fan didn't fail, tut tut) I will trust his judgment over yours {Ed007's Note - You do know I'm a Celtic supporter don't you? Moyes is a terrible manager and should never have got the Utd job. He also never signed Duncan Disordely who wasn't even the best player in HMP Barlinnie, what do you mean Moyes 'liked him', in a going for windy walks together sort of way?
I was unfortunate enough to see Gravesen playing for Celtic, he was an awful signing, but he probably was in his comfort zone at Everton and couldn't handle the step up to big clubs like Madrid and Celtic. It was probably the European football he wasn't used to or the pressure to play to win rather than settling for a draw.
If Ferguson was a good player it just proves how shite the football you played was.}

Some ignorant relies from United fans, the fact is, Moyes never won a trophy so in actual fact he wasn't exactly a god to us like neutrals thought he was. Martinez has won a trophy so there fore I think Roberto is better. {Ed004's Note - Moyes never got a team relegated though so by that logic he is better?}

no I didn't know you are a celtic supporter and no offense but a step up to the big clubs like madrid and celtic is a very bad sentence as let's face it scottish football may just be the worst league in the world at the moment if you're going to have celtic branded a big club along with madrid does that mean southampton and norwich are the 2 biggest clubs in the world as hooper and wanyama certainly took a step up from celtic, are you the regular ed on this site? because i'm sure I remember an ed saying clevrley is better than fellaini which shows clueletvess in itself if it wasnt you then apologies but if it was you then there is no need in me arguing really {Ed007's Note - It wasn't me, if you were a regular reader of the site you would know I don't rate Cleverley at all. I would happily see him sold to someone like Everton or Wigan, that's about his level. Good luck in Europe this year btw.}

Just because he got relegated with a team doesn't make him a bad manager Ed. Wenger, Klopp and Benitez were relegated earlier in their careers now look at them. {Ed004's Note - And just because Martinez won a trophy doesn't mean he is better than Moyes. I'm sure there are many worse managers out there who have won more than Moyes}
