I'm beginning to think that Ferguson's retirement decision came around a lot quicker than he admitted to. I can only think that Moyes' appointment was a kneejerk decision. As you say he meets none of our criteria and his track record is mediocre at very best. I would like to think that the board are already looking for a suitable replacement.

The 'fun' is about to start. There is already a huge Twitter campaign started, mainly by City/LFC/Chelski/Arsenal fans regarding the 'Chosen One'. Expect to see posters and neutral fans chanting 'Moyes In' at every game all round the UK.
Your right RED SKY, time for United supporters to dig in

There were lots of people on here in the summer saying 4th place would be acceptable in a transition season. I think what we are seeing here is the begining of the fall of our empire if we are not careful. I for one was not happy to see the Moyes appointment. it was for all the wrong reasons especially if his predecessor hand picked him.

it won't happen but I would sack him now, it is our only hope of top 4. it would I believe cause a reaction amongst the players (as sackings tend to) and maybe get us to january and allow us to make 5+ signings.

wrong man, wrong job. I can't see our high profile sponsors parting with big bucks for mid-table football.
