RVP didn't look happy after he scored because he was running back to the centre circle, I wouldn't expect him to be happy after scoring an equaliser against Stoke, he should be determined to go and get a winner.

I am shocked and appalled at people on here saying things like RVP should be dropped, someone earlier said we should sell him and get Lewandowski. Are we serious?

GDS2, whilst I don't agree with the people saying sell him, I haven't seen him play well for us at all this season. And yes he was running back to the centre circle but it was only coming upto half time and we had just pulled level. You would surely think that in those circumstances the scoring player would be happy, and so if you compare that celebration to his celebrations last year, then he just doesn't seem the same to me. Yes it's just one celebration but he hasn't seemed the same at all this season, whether that's his football, or his attitude.
Now as I said in my OP that's if his heads not in the game then he should be dropped, at least until he he can sort out his game.

The word fickle springs to mind. The bloke pretty much won us the title last year and you want to drop him already. Perhaps a better idea would be for DM to try an understand what's bothering him and fix it. And in terms. From not playing well. apart from Rooney and Januzaj, who has played well the year with any consistency?

SAF convince RVP to join United who had a choice of other top clubs but said he wanted to win trophys. A year later SAF retires and we appoint a manager who has nothing.
In the league especially where we are 8th we have look less than convincing.

I'm a Chelsea fan and had to laugh at your post.

You lot parked the bus against Southampton.and you couldn't even win the game. haha

I'm really enjoying watching Chelsea at moment, passion, fighting sprit, skill, class, more fighting sprit, more passion, organized and a squad of 23 players that when called up fight for every ball!

Our B team embarrassed Arsenal with them starting 4 of their main players. Ok we played Mata, Willian ect but none of them will play on Saturday, where's Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla and Koscielny WILL all play against LFC.

Good luck against them in a week or so, you'll need it.

Hey i'm not saying u shouldn't be enjoying it, atm ure winning, albeit not very attractively.
Your wrong about southampton too, we didn't park the bus, in fact they have a great manager who got his tatics spot on and fully deserved the draw, they pushed us back for 25 mins in a way I have not seen since barca beat us, full credit should go to them for it!
Kagawa cost us peanuts compared to hazard and I wouldn't want to distinguish who is the better player, better attitude however our man wins hands down IMO,
I was meerly pointing out I can't understand how he is even on the list, although there are a few others too.
If u truly believe he deserves to be there that's ure prerogative, mine is he dnt and those thoughts have been echoed by many (but not just hazard) who I think in time will turn out to be a very good player.
I was also pointing out how I thought after spending millions on intricate number 10's its ironic u now have shifted from that idea back to powerfull direct football, other than Oscar(who I love and think is an amazing little player) who in that role has excelled under mour?
The treatment of mata I personally think is poor, as i'm sure u would agree?

DJ, you make it sound like Southampton are a terrible team? When in actual fact they have a brilliant team in great form and only have 2 points less than you.

I think what Chris is trying to say is that, for a team that have spent millions and millions have 2 first team players for each position in attack you don't really look 'all that'.

Yeah Hazard shouldn't be on the ballon d'or list he hasn't done nearly enough. Funny because I actually think Aguero should be instead. Coming from a United fan.

Few points I agree with Chris but not all.

If you take back the comment about us parking the bus against Arsenal then i'll take it back about Southampton. because if u think we "parked the bus" then you certainly did! Football is about defending and attacking. You need to do both to win games.

Don't agree with you on the Mata situation. Mata started off injured, Oscar has started the season superbly! Neither are wingers, both go missing when they play on the wing. (hence why we brought Schurrle and willian, both out and out wingers) So why should Jose drop Oscar and play Mata? Mata came out the other day and said what a great coach Jose is and he'll always get the best out of his players. Has Kagawa done that with Moyes? I personally think the situation with kagawa is a lot worse than the Mata situation. Ok Hazard shouldn't be on the list, Mata should, as he was our best player last year not Hazard.

I would say good luck for the future but you've had enough of that in the past :)

Admit u didn't park the bus? Umm no lol u did, and did it very well, but this is hardly a 1 off is it? U done the same at OT, spurs and against city let's be honest u got away with 1 really, jose was taking the draw after 60 mins all day long, untill Hart gift wrapped u a goal.
U say u disagree about mata then go on to qoute him saying how good mour is? what's he going to say in a world cup year when he needs to be playing mate?
If u really think treating Mata the way he has been treated is right then that says a lot about your fans mate, u can't compare Mata's situation to Kags, its totally different, Kags showed tbh very little to dislodge rooney or gain a starting spot untill recently, Mata has single handedly kept u competing for 2 seasons not to mention been ure player of the year twice in that time, so he warrants being mistreated because what? He doesn't drop deep and want to protect a 1-0 lead after 60 mins?
Once again these are just my opinions and if u disagree that's fine, but I suspect, much like young marcellus u have those niggling doubts too :-)

I dnt think AJH is not accusing u of being fickle in the sense of your support for the club, more in the sense that our biggest player and at least 50% why we won the league last year deserves more than being dropped, considering he ain't playing that bad really and not forgetting his goals already this season mate thus he shouldn't be the scapegoat to our 'indifferent' start to the season

So WHEN we win the league come may and Mata has been used as a squad player will that be down to him as well? NO! It will all be down to Jose! We was well off the pace in the last two years when Mata was player of the year. So yea if he doesn't track back when were 1-0 up after 60 mins, we go on to lose the game 2-1. Jose has got a very good track record because he knows what he's doing! Same can't be said for moyes.lol

To be honest, I am unaware of any need for Shaw to go anywhere, or need for the club to sell or desire by Shaw to leave. (He said he would sign a long term contract on his birthday and you could see him doing so at the Saints pre-season training camp, if you were interested.)Certainly will stay until the summer and then hardly likely to join Chelsea and have to deal with the internal politics of Cole wanting to keep him on the bench and thus limit his chances for the England senior team.
Your £5m of a few months ago is now up to £14m, is it? Problem is you are not keeping up with his development but it is a difficult calculation for you as the media do not give you a lot of information. If it is any help, I would suggest he will go nowhere for at least two more seasons. If Saints continue to progress at the current rate very unlikely he would then. If he was for sale in the summer, you are at least £10m short on your valuation. The days of being able to buy young stars from Saints at silly prices are long gone, so get used to it-you are now dealing with a financially sound club run by a very astute businessman.
Two 18 year olds playing for Saints last weekend, with another on the bench who has already played around half the games this season, and is captain of England's under 19s. If you are a quality youngster, who wants to get a chance in the Premiership with a team that is developing all the time, why would you want to leave-especially if you then had to do the hard graft for a bunch of aging has beens?

Other than that DJ, you appear to be spot on. LOL.

I think mourinho is a great manager and obviously had his reasons for not playing mata. But u can see the hunger in mata's face when he is given the chance.
I think chelsea will buy in January and they will win the league. But it is the arrogance of their supporters which frankly shows us all that they have no class at all. You can't buy that, you need to earn it and behave in a certain manner, but that is not the rent boys way.

Chelsea is not a great team, but they have a great manager.

They have scrapped wins like we used to, while not playing that great. That said, not sure they will get any better. They have an average defence at best, and a poor CM. The fact that fat Frank is still their most influential CM says it all. They do possess some quality Attacking CM players'; but the best of them all is playing second fiddle to the likes of Oscar and Hazard.
