Midfield prospects I would be in favor of:
Reports that we have put in an offer for Pjanic of Roma, a very good playmaker. Hard to imagine they would let him go, though. Both Gundogan and Rakitic seem to have uncertainty over their futures, both strong and technical players. I also would love either Matuidi of PSG or Fernando of Porto, both of whom offer great energy defensively. And some say we may go after Alex Teixeira of Shaktar, after his impressive performance in the CL.

At left back, I am still hopeful we can convince Real to sell us Coentrao.
