Further to my post yesterday about Moyes saying he may not replace Vidic and my post of a few days ago on how the media are making up anything to use against us.

David Moyes said yesterday "Undoubtedly, I`m going to give the younger centre-halves opportunities to show what they are capable of".

Now guess what the headline is? Vidic is to be pushed aside. Seriously WTF.

Seriously what Grund?

Vidic is an Inter milan player now in my eyes and cannot remain captaining and leading our defence for the rest of the season unless we have injuries.

Devil, I think Grund's point was about the spin that the media put on decisions made at Utd. Can't do wrong for doing right, as my mother would say.

At least, that's what I think he was getting at. Apologies if I've picked it up wrong.

Well if that's what he meant then fair enough Stevie but no one could blame Moyes if he decides not to play Vidic for the rest of the season.

For the captain of the club to carry on like this is a let down. Thanks for his time but to do everything so public while we are struggling leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He could have done everything quietly and announced it after the season finished. Very disappointing behavior

Devil, I agree. He's been a great servant, but Moyes should start now on planning for the future without him, unless injuries make that impossible.
