Hi Guys, been reading through a lot of the posts and agree with most that we need pace especially in wide areas. But one question for everyone if we sign 2 wingers what system would we play? As in where do we play mata? I personally think only one of Rooney or RVP can play up top with mata in behind and 2 pacey wingers playing a 4-2-3-1. I think trying to accommodate Rooney, RVP and mata in the same 11 has cost us. There all good technically but there's no pace, everything is played in front of the opposition. I personally wouldn't have bought mata I would have spent that money on a top class CM, because Mata has hardly put in top class performances since he arrived, but since we have him I would let RVP go in the summer play Rooney up top, mata behind and 2 new wingers as well as other positions needing filled obviously. But at least that would make us creative. Only my opinion, sorry for the long post. Would like to hear your thoughts. And I am anti moyes.
