Can't believe we all now have to suffer because of that person that questioned Ed002's information yesterday! Ed002 does an amazing job on this site, never speculates and only deals with facts! Added with the funny replies etc, he makes this site worth visiting! Just as it would have been of benefit to all with the new manager appointment and shirt sponsor announcement to hear his info.

Can't wait for this season to be over and to look forward to World Cup and transfer window!

Opinions on World Cup winners? I'm going with Argentina!

Holland, solely because LVG is the manager;)

Oh yeah forgot about the WC. It will be tough for most of the Europeans, I Think the hosts will be the one to beat of the less fancied teams I fancy Chile to have a really good tournament

I feel Argentina have a very good chance, as do Germany. Anyone but Spain would suit me fine.

Looking forward to watching Holland play and attack to see our future manager :) but reckon it will be a brazil/ Argentina final

Cant see it being argentina myself, find them massively overated and just a top heavy team.

my bet is Brazil or Germany. I've heard that euro teams have never won in south america so maybe this is the year?

Argentina are the highest bottlers in world football, they either choke as it gets the pressure stages like in 2006 or just don't turn up. There too top heavy, some great attacking players but brittle in defence. Germany for me, maybe a repeat of 2002.

Well, World Cup final is set up nicely for Brazil v Argentina but there are always a few shocks. Columbia will do well, with or without Falcao.Their defence is creaking a bit but they have a lot of pace upfront and will be hard to beat. Chile as well, a lot of skill throughout their team and amazing team spirit. Their cavalier style will enthrall but ultimately be their undoing. Out of the European teams, I think the conditions will suit the Italian style of play. Yes, their combined age is about 1000 but they will be tough to beat, they love being the underdogs and in Pirlo have one the most intelligent and creative players in the Championship.
It will be loud, chaotic, fiery and probably a little bit dull at times. As for England, they will not progress from their group.
Wish I was going, the most amazing looking girls in the world! What a party!
