Ed. For a bit of clarity, apparently old friend of this page Wesley Sneijder (sorry about the spelling) has not been paid for 3 months by galatasaray. According to fifa rules, His contract could be terminated due to salaries not paid for a 3 month period. This would result in him being available on a free transfer. Now I'm not saying we need him but it is interesting.

Ok ed yes I've just noticed it's in metro and daily star. Not exactly the gospel but I thought it was worth a mention to our dislecksic fans who historic ally struggle with his shpelling.
