Lingard is back in training and will feature in games in few weeks. But am i the only one that thinks Periera deserves a chance ahead of lingard?

Is he any better than Powell, Periera,
Harrop, pearson???

Was really surprised when Lingard started the season opener.

I don't really see the hype with perreira, we have mata who is the same kind of player and has the experience. Lingard is a good player he will show it when he gets the chance. Btw I don't understand why Joe Rothwell doesn't get a chance, from the youth players I've seen he's the best imo, he's got good dribbling, passing range, work rate, composure on the ball, reads the play well and joins attacks, kind of reminds me of Gundogan from Dortmund, I think he needs a chance.

Rothwell has been training with the first team, hopefully if we get an easy draw in the FA cup he will be given a run out.

Lingard? played very well in the pre season. He looked pretty good in the full back role before getting injured although he's a bit light weight. Smart footballer though.
