Sky Italia reporting we have agreed a fee of £12.7 million for Darmian sounds believable given other reports coming out today that the two clubs are close in a fee. A 6ft versatile Italian International for a couple million pound less than Clyne, seems like a good deal

Can't complain about us signing a champions league winning right back, I suppose. I still prefer Rafael though - and would rather we'd gone for Clyne.

Redseven
He made 1 appearance in the league and 1 appearance in the Italian cup in 06/07, no appearances in the champions league.
He had 1 appearance in 07/08 in the Italian cup and in 08/09 he had 3 appearances in the league for Milan. He has never played in the champions league and has 17 appearances in the Europa league (4 for Palermo 10/11 and 13 for Torino 14/15). Hardly a champions league winning right back lol.

why go for clyne when valencia had better stats than him at rb last year. this darmian looks decent.

Simonpw - I thought it would have been quite obvious that my Champions League winning comment was something of a joke - although as he was in the squad he technically does have a winners medal despite not having played a single game.

zGAZx - if you think that Valencia is a better right back than Clyne then I have very little interest in any of your other thoughts or opinions on football - as you're quite clearly clueless!
