Shawthing. Totally agree and we posted some time ago words to that effect. I see no light at the end of the tunnel. The results are a consequence of the club general demise over the past 6-7 years.
We have allowed the general running of the club to deteriorate and now we are seeing the results on the football pitch.

Good post Shawthing. We have had 2 duds, let's hope we get the next appointment right. Football at this level is fine margins - the players believing in the manager and having the right desire are often the difference between winning and losing now.

I'm amazed that the club has let this happen, but then this isn't the same club anymore - I barely recognise it.

Have we ever been in for the world's biggest players, we have tended to buy the best British players and the up and coming talent around Europe, this has been the bedrock of our success along with the huge amount of luck we had with the emergence of the Class of 92, and the brilliance of a certain manager, something we will never see again.
Where do we go next, I have no idea, Guardiola or Mourinho, neither is guaranteed success and I could see us becoming an unmanageable club. As crazy as this sounds we might have become to reliant on SAF and will take years to recover to where we all believe we should be.

Stoat. Modric, bale, Sanchez, ozil, de bryune etc pre glazers would of been attained by fergie. Atleasr one or two, not all.

It just felt that because there was success Happening then why spend money.
