Very interesting note about Klopps award Ed001. So Sir Alex has never done it? Strange. Or the league is pretty bad at the moment.

{Ed001's Note - I don't think that is the reason. It is more that Ferguson's teams never started well, they just built up momentum as the season went along. Nowadays, with modern science, players are at their peak almost immediately and can maintain the levels for much longer.}

ed01 you had better show that to our coaching staff. our players look knackered after 20 mins.

{Ed001's Note - Phelan is not known for his modern methods.}

Not sure what to make of the club reporting the Sun to the independent commission.

On one hand it does seem like the paper knew of the attack before it happened. Some people have suggested it was orchestrated by the club and our new head or PR former Sun journalist Neil Ashton. As some way of taking pressure off of Ed Woodward. Yet if that was the case, why then report the newspaper?

{Ed001's Note - the paper have basically admitted they knew in advance.}

Its a paper alright ed001. But not the one used for reading.

{Ed001's Note - note I didn't say newspaper!}

Ed001, the interesting thing is not whether the paper knew in advance, but why they would.

Why would a group of people, even those stupid enough to attack Woodward's house contact a national paper to tell them in advance?

You have to be a special kind of stupid to tell the press that you are going to commit a crime so they can photograph and evidence your crimes.

Which means if it wasn't one of the bone heads in a mask who told the paper then that only leaves two options.

1. the club did orchestrate the attack to take the pressure off of Woodward. If so then reporting the paper afterwards seems a little like burning your bridges and doesn't quite fit.

2. the paper itself orchestrated the attack to create their own "news" story. In which case we are entering "Tomorrow never dies" territory.

Really its quite an astounding story. None of the possibilities quite seem grounded in reality.

{Ed001's Note - it would not be the first time that this particular gutter rag has been alleged to have 'created' the 'news' it is reporting. The difficulty is proving it.}

Shappy, it seem strange that we hire Ashton to improve public relations, then a week later, Woodward's house gets targeted on a weekday at 8:30pm, he's got young kids at school age, and the whole family was out. And the Sun reporters were there over 45mins before the attack happens. And it so happens that Woodward has been getting a lot of flack over the past couple of months. Now then, we must all be as fickle as hell if we think the above was not an orchestrated plan to take the heat off mr Woodward.
I do not condone violence in any shape, in fact, I think we're too lenient on our offenders, but do me a favour, this smacks of Woodward and Ashton trying it on, but their plan misfired as the Sun reporters were spotted before the attack. Basically, they cocked up.

I heard that Woodward knows Tupac and is in the illuminati.
