Some players just aren't consistent enough, Lindelof, Casemero, Dalot etc. One they are very good the next they're a liability. We will see a number of the younger players coming through next season, given our limited funds. I'm not expecting lots of new purchases tbh. Biggest challenge will be getting rid on the high earners and reducing the weekly bills.

I have no issue with us resetting and relying on our youth development. Beats seeing this shower lumbering around (if indeed they can stay fit) .

Dalot does not have any problems with consistency. He is consistently terrible, our worst player on the pitch in pretty much every game, he’s not clever enough and doesn’t possess the footballing ability to be able to cover for that. He’s had one good game all season when Trent allowed him the freedom of Anfield, he showed he can play like that in one game but hasn’t done it before or since. If you can tell me another good game he’s had or good thing he’s done this season I’d be surprised. Extremely consistent.

Dalots a class player no getting the hatred for him maybe this new "system" dosent suit him definitely not 1 of UTDs worst players when youve likes of Hoijlund Onana Zirkzee stealing a wage.

GDS2. Worst player on the pitch, you need Specsavers, maybe Real Madrid and Bayern Munich do too as they want him in the summer, Jose wanted him, every manager since as played him regularly, so something tells me you need Specsavers more….

You are blind if you cannot see Dalot being one of the worst players we’ve had ability wise.

Dalot hasn’t even done when he switched to his preferred side never mind the left, and Zirkzee is getting acclimated to league and not used to physical side of it yet, but so good with his feet and actually has a brain, don’t get the hate judge him after next season.

How insightful.

This is just part of the reset the club needs.

Needs must.
Crack on Sir Jim, crack on son.

I do not need Specsavers, I’ve shocked anyone disagrees with me, I watch him play every week and he’s the worst player on the pitch, I noticed neither of the posters (who disagree with everything seemingly) offered up an answer to anything good he was done this season other than the game at Anfield though.

GDS, I'll give it a crack.
Dalot is a shining light amongst an otherwise very dark group of players, that are significantly out of their depth due to being massively unfit and I'll prepared for a season in the EPL, bar a few examples, and those are glimpses here and there, not consistently at a certain level.
Dalot however, is consistent, in my opinion. Is the level he is at where we want that position to be at in say 3years time, no. But he is performing at probably 70-80% of what we want, he just doesn't have the rest in him to be here in 3years time. So he will be replaced in time, but he is likely to get a stay of execution, due to other areas being more of a problem.

Ill give it a go as well youve got a goalie with feet for hands Lumbering OAP in midfield in Casemiro a pair of strikers whove scored between them 2 league goals in almost 40 games but Dalots the worst player at UTD give your head a wobble that man could get a game at Madrid Bayern etc can't say that for the rest of the stiffs in the squad bar Bruno.

So no then, nobody can give me anything good he has done apart from the Liverpool game then. I’ll stick with my opinion that he’s awful and not give my head any wobbles.

I thought my assessment was pretty good GDS.
Players don't have to be great, they can fashion a career by just filling a gap, the list of those players is endless, and that is just from our ranks!

He arrived to great fanfare ('Best player in Europe in his position for his age' was Mourinho's assessment) .
I feel he's a decent squad player. His greatest strength is his versality. Jack of a few trades, master of none.
He seems to have suitors in Real and Bayern if you read the tabloids but I'd be stunned if anything came of those, surely just agent spin. He wouldn't even be a mascot for them.
