Ed do you honestly see the possibility of Welbeck leaving? I can't see us selling him he's the golden boy of the academy.

I think Fabio has had a poor season. he doesn't look like a threat going forward and neither is he that great defending. buttner looks more likely to replace evra eventually.

I don't rate either of the CB's to rio or vidic. however they are pacey CB's in a passing world if you may. however both injury prone and they both need cover at their level of play or better.

Nani for me is gone. he has had too many years to prove he can atleast do a flick properly. young is no better. he is just pure rubbish and you guys would serve well to find players like paul ince to compliment zaha.

Rio, Giggs, scholes, end of the tunnel for them.

Cleverly is unworthy to play for england.

fergie needs to buy a midfielder or hope kagawa is better next year, zaha will need to slot in for nani.

and in terms of strikers. hernadez and welbeck both want to start and so does rooney and rvp. rooney looks like the fat cat out of the box. or probably two strikers off replaced by 1.

3.) 12 Apr 2013
Why Jones or Smalling? They will both be present for a long tme.

4.) 12 Apr 2013
Ok let's start with defence.

fabio has had a rubbish year because he is in a team with no support system for that side of the pitch so he will go forward and instead of holding fire, all qpr front line wanna do is pack into a box so of course he's getting caught out.

Buttner needs to have a run of games to see what he is capable of, but if it was me I would rotate the two.

Jones or Smalling I would add Evans to this as well, all three are so injury prone its scary! but if they can be kept fit all three are capable of genius and their positioning when fit is always second to none, Rio has one more season in him and I think Vidic will be gone end of next season because he's getting on and may wanna play in another league whilst being able to demand good wages and Manchester United getting a good value for him, so I would buy another defender always best to run a 4 center back rotation anyways.

Nani or Young well at least young looks like he's trying and he does have the talent Nani is awful always looking to run the ball all the way on his own and never looking for the pass, so I would keep young and get rid of Nani I think he's probably gone anyways, on top of that on the midfield we need to get shot of Anderson he clearly struggles with fitness and pace of the premiership.

Cleverly is brilliant and always fun to watch if played in the right role which is not happening right now, he and kagawa should be be told to rotate dropping back in order to support the striker.

I agree though as much I think Giggs and Scholes are brilliant and true servants to the club I think they are done now.

Rooney needs to go he is so inconsistent and unfit and if PSG want him so long as they offer enough he should be let go, as for Welbeck my friend has a saying "time to poop or get off the potty" he doesn't score enough his first touch is so heavy at that level its a disgrace how he's in the England team is beyond me entirely. So if it was up to me Hernandez would stay along with RVP and Rooney and Welbeck would be on their way out. but I know that SAF likes Welbeck so he's probably going to stay.

in short we need 3 midfield players an alternative winger and two holding/deep laying midfielders, another striker (someone who can score like RVP would be good) and a central defender and the people who should be on their way out in my opinion (so not fact but just from observation) are.

Welbeck
Rooney
Scholes (retire)
Giggs (retire)
Nani
Anderson

but what do you guys think?

5.) 12 Apr 2013
I don't think Nani or Young are good enough to be first choose, and Nani is on his last 6 or 7 games for us. Gundogan is better than Strootman, but either would improve us.

6.) 12 Apr 2013
Strootman, not seen to much of Gundogan to judge but I hear Strootman is the better player defensively!

Fabio for LB.

Jones has a very exciting future ahead, and I can see Smalling becoming the face of Englands defence.

Nani because he is younger, and when he wants, he is the one out of the 2 that is United quality.

Probably Hernandez would be the better to keep, but if Welbeck can just add finishing to his game it will help him a lot and SAF definitely prefers Welbeck IMO, also we could replace Hernandez easier with the larger sum of money he would bring in!

7.) 12 Apr 2013
Don't think either Fabio or Buttner are good enough, they are 22/23 ish and if not good enough at that age never will be, i'll contradict myself soon enough :). So we need a left back.

Jones is brilliant at CB and very good ( with slightly more attacking frame of mind) could be excellent defensive Mid.
Evans is good enough now and just entering his best years. Smalling 22 very good and can only improve :) see not long at all.

Nani exasperating no doubt has the talent but enough is sufficient bye bye. Young a trier with flashes but just not good enough sadly.

Hernandez both deserves and needs more games, not looked at the stats but possibly the best goals per min striker in PL. Welbeck? dunno.

Left back, box to box mid ( Strootman fits the bill and has been touted enough)and a creative mid seems what we really need.

8.) 12 Apr 2013
Strootman is better defensively but also has a thunderous left foot, Gundogan might be a better player in big games though and obviously has more experience in europe as it stands. Main thing here is that we definitely need a new potential world class CM as I think this has been our main reason for failing in the CL in recent seasons, our current crop doesn't cut it except Carrick and Kagawa but you can't play them two in the middle together. RvP was none existent in our big games against RM and Chelsea in the FA cup because of poor supply from our midfield. So we need to address this, this summer!

Secondly, Buttner is definitely on his way to take over from Evra as our LB however I would prefer us to see if we can pinch Luke Shaw off Southampton before his price rockets upwards.

Jones and Smalling are both already great they just need experience which they will soon get more and more of. Think they will be a formidable partnership for United + England.

Nani and Young are both good and bad in seperate ways, young - tracks back, works hard but seems to have lost confidence in taking a man on/creativity. Then Nani as we all know has world class skill that he seems to leave in a cupboard at home when it counts so I think keep Young as a squad player, sell Nani let Wilf run the show and also buy another young hungry winger.

Welbeck has been the only player to consistently play well in big games for us this season his work rate and defensive abilities are fantastic, don't want him to go anywhere! Chicha is happy to be a super sub so why get rid of either? Henriquez I think could be something special so i'm happy to wait to see what he can do for us in a few years.
