I have no contacts or sources so this article might well be true - so might the other 10 dozen out there.

But why would an unhappy Ronaldo spend the next two years of his career at a club where he doesn't want to be? and why would Real Madrid want lose the potential transfer fee that will be upward of 50m by letting his contract run down?

Can't see Ronaldo moving to PSG, would he be attracted to Ligue 1? He's not the type of player to chase after money, he's always been about the football first, I think a return to United is most likely just a question of when! Then maybe back to Lisbon when he's not fit enough for the PL unless he retires at the top.

Ronaldo would never sign for City or Chelsea. Not saying he's about to sign for us but let's not forget that UTD have 1st option on him should Real decide to cash in. Nike are also taking an interest in any possible deal so the potential earnings at UTD are massive for him personally. For me, if he does leave and UTD do want him then there's only one place he'll end up. OT.

Ronaldo isn't all about the money you stupid persons! He's always put football first, he absolutely loves it. He doesn't go out and drink, do drugs, he keeps himself in the fittest possible state to be the best he can. He's purely saying that he doesn't believe Real Madrid are grateful to have the second best player in the world at their club, after all the effort and hard work he puts into training and the contribution to the team. When he moved to United all he wanted was to be the best footballer in the world not the richest, then he moved to Real Madrid because it's always been a boyhood dream of his money was never the issue or the reason behind any of his moves so why would it be now?

Ronaldo has always been greedy but not for money, he's greedy for respect, attention and love from fans. He wants to be loved, while obviously he likes earning a lot who wouldn't? It's not the motive behind his footballing career. Believe me!

Nike are not involved and are not the slightest bit interested in being involved, that is just paper BS. United have the money should he become available but Real will not even consider letting him leave unless they can secure the services of Bale

True but United have a far bigger global appeal so i'm sure Nike would want him at united. I don't have a clue what he wants to do and what will happen but I hope he stays at Madrid if he doesn't come to us. For all Madrids wrong doings, let's not forget thhe respect and help they showed us after the munich air disaster. That showed their class and won't be forgotten.

The reason Ronaldo would say that he will run down his contract is so Real would sell him. Even if Real excepted a bid from somebody Ronaldo wouldn't have to leave as he is under contract. !

City have not signed with Nike. What happens is Nike and umbro share kit deals and some teams can swap. It happens with my local team and has just happened with City.

Good reply Ozwald. Mostly, I agree but when there is so much money involved it does change things, especially if some people are willing/able to Offer that much more. He is not happy but even if we put a good offer to him why would it not be tempting to earn double (not saying it would be double) elsewhere
