Coming out of Chelsea and quite strong rumour. They will use Mata in a swop deal for Rooney. Mourino does not fancy Mata at all and wants Rooney real bad

Rooney in a new setup with a fresh challenge would be lethal. Could easily score 25 goals in that Chelsea setup. Would be like handing the title to them on a platter.

I wouldn't want him to go to one of our domestic rivals. Even if Mata is exactly the kind of player we need.

This was a previous fake rumour so why post again?
This will never happen! I'm sure any Chelsea fan would laugh at that rumour, even I did when heard it first time.
As said before, he won't fit at Chelsea, the only club that'll work for him is Arsenal. Doesn't bother me if sold there as they are not a threat, plus he can finally be the main man at a club which is what he wants.

Rooney to Chelsea could happen but if anyone mentions any sort of swap deal in a transfer, the rumour/inside knowledge loses all credibility.

When was the last time two british clubs swapped two major players? Yet you see these articles written by journos and people supposedly ITK and its all much of a nothingness. Just a reason to write an article and get more hits.
