I'm fed up of this team bashing, so let's look ahead to the new season, how do you expect us to line up in the first game based on recent rumours and 'likely' signings?

Anyone thought of that as being a possibility? Rooney does score a lot when he is up top, and Kagawa is best in the whole, so that could work, no? The midfield is also both more creative and there is more bite in there.

I agree this would be the perfect scenario, however do we have the back up squad to play without wingers all the time?

I'd rather a bit more width personally, not traditional wingers but inverted wingers like this maybe:
