I don't want to say I told you so again but already the papers are starting with stories of how Moyes wants Rooney to stay. Surely we can't be conned by Paul Stretford twice. He is just taking the P155

Whether he stays or not, it would be mad to give him a pay rise. Interestingly, the Arsenal site is full of rumours of a bid from them for him.

I'm guessing Moyes sees this as an opportunity for him to prove his man management skills and get the best form Rooney, a very risky gamble on his part of true.

Kloot

Offcourse they are going to say they want to keep him. I reckon we were always going to sell rooney this summer and it just the start of the fun and games that comes with the transfer market.

Expect the same stuff until a whirlwind 48 hours of news leaking and him gone sometime this summer.

I also think our first few signings will clarify their intent.

I don't see him staying as an option. The United faithful won't put up with the same act twice and he will soon realise that, by the majority, he is not wanted IMO.

No point keeping Rooney if he doesn't want to play. No one is bigger than the club!

5.) 21 May 2013
So now you believe what the papers are saying when it's bad for United?

6.) 21 May 2013
One minuet you don't believe a word the paper says now you're taking them as gospel because it supports your theory. Hypocrite. Also of course we're going to say that we want him to stay if not the player would want to leave and the club would want him to leave, usually means clubs get them on the cheep

7.) 21 May 2013
Id say give him his p45
