Watching Yaya Toure you wonder what on earth were barcelona thinking letting him go. Unbelievable player and miles better than Viera, Pogba or anything I have seen in the PL.

He didn't suit their style. The real question is why on earth weren't other clubs more persistent in trying to sign him!?

He's peaked, but he isn't miles better than Viera and Pogba. Better though. Pogba will be better IMO.

Agree with Syd, Toure is a fantastic player if he's allowed to play his own style. Didn't suit barca's tiki taka style.
Still though Pogba will be better.

The big question is, why didn't WE go for him. Could you of imagined him alongside Scholes in Scholes later years.

Toure in recent years has just become the ultimate footballer, can pass, run, tackle, shoot from distance, neat finishing from close range, header the ball, sprint half a football pitch after 90 minutes.

Pogba will become good but I don't see him being able to make them powerful runs through defences like Toure can.

Pognba is not even close mate and you guys need to stop reading all the bs in the papers and actually watch Juve and Pogba. Not even close imo.

Pogba is a MUCH better player than Yaya was at 21. MUCH BETTER!

Yaya has peaked, Pogba's career has only just began. As we speak Yaya is the better player, but IMO Pogba will become the better player.

^nailed it, toure was nowhere near the player he is now when at Barcelona. Had the same attributes but was.never allowed to express himself in a team like barca with their style and big name players. Quiet guy when he left, now probably the biggest player at city atm, he's become more arrogant and that's what you need to be a top player. He was wasted at barca IMO. Pogba has everythng to be a superstar GCU, the boy is at such a high level at 21, when he hits his peak, he will be worldclass'
