Just want to mention the Depay rumours, I said previously that a lot of talk in Holland is that he's staying put unless a huge offer comes in (which with the potential movements of Di Maria, Reus and the already moving Sanchez, etc.) Paying big money for a potential player just seems silly.

anyway, I read the rumours again this morning and I thought I would email my Brother in law, a season ticket holder at Feyenoord and his reply, in a nut shell was simple.

Depay is away on Holiday, Feyenoord have no plans to sell him and he's been hearing that there hasn't been a firm offer for him, although their were enquiries PRIOR to the WC (and probably after). Apparently the enquiries were from an Italian club.

Also, Depay loves the club, has a lot of friends and family who he spends a lot of time with, so potentially he himself may not want the move, unless of course it is to a big a club.

Personally I don't see him going anywhere, not this year.

My Brother in law doesn't have any inside connections to the club, it's just what he's been hearing.

I think he plays for PSV and Feyenoord do not have any hold over the matter unless they buy him.

Not sure how PSV fans feel about Depay's love for Feyenoord, nor why would Feyenood want him to stay at PSV.

I assumed he meant Feyenoord, simply because he was saying the club are under no pressure to sell and he doesn't look like moving haha.

It's what's being said around Holland I'm assuming.

All these dutch player, De Vrij, Indi, etc. are just confusing me :).

when I emailed him, I actually asked me "What's the deal with Depay? is he leaving Feyenoord this season"

To which the first part of his FB message email response was "eh? Feyenoord? but I assumed he just meant I c*cked up the spelling.

Oh well, Holland 1 -0 Moon
