im quite confused at the moment with some of the posts on the forum. this is the best football i have seen us play in a few years and some people still aren't happy. we are keeping the ball really well and our attacking play is 100% better than last year, granted we have bought in 2 world class players and a few more with the potential to be great players but we are slowly progressing, we just need a settled back 4. i think we are only a right footed centre back off having a really settled, complete first 11. whilst McNair had a great debut, if we bought in someone like hummels next to rojo, that would be a great back 4. all 6 of our summer signings have really impressed me, especially falcao with 2 assists in 2 games, as i didn't think he had that part to his game. once he gets off the mark himself, he may be hard to stop. herrera has been amazing with his energy in the middle, he can do it all. i don't think i need to say anything about di maria. blind has looked composed and every bit the organiser we need, i'm sure shaw will take his chance now and really kick on and rojo will stay at centre back now i think.

to me, there is no comparison between LVG and moyes. LVG has completely changed the way we play, he wants to attack, which is what we all want to see from manchester united! with moyes, we looked lost and didn't know which direction we were heading in. the football got progessively worse as the season went on. i don't get the idea that we have abandoned our youth philosophy, with quite a few of our young players already getting their chance and some taking it with both hands.

im really excited to see where LVG can take this group of players and with top 4 a very good chance this year, with 1 or 2 additions this season and a good season with this squad playing together next, the future looks very bright

Good post. It was always going to take 3 windows and up to 2 seasons to see where we really are. So its too early yet to moan about LvG. I'm sure he wanted a top class CB but will have to wait till jan/next summer. The way we play is so much more positive already, it felt like we were set up not to lose last season whereas we are set up to win this season. Granted LvG has better attackers at his disposal.

Great post mate!

United fans will never be satisfied. Never ever. We always pick something to complain.

I do think that our main issue is more mental than anything else. Our defense is not great but is good enough to keep clean sheets against the teams we played so far. But the team and we supporters are to anxious to get everything done and fast and it's affecting us.

We'll get much better and by May we'll se a team that will fight for every single competition next season.

Against Leicester, 3-1 up and the crowd are yelling Attack Attack Attack. we lose 5-3 and the fans are saying we should have protected our lead!!! Fickle or what????
