predictions for todays game guys:) Spurs vs pool
Everton Vs united I believe spurs win and a Draw.

Ed025, Would you swap Rooney for Barkley?

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about that RD, if you has asked me pre season i would have said yes, but ross seems to have progressed really well this season and is starting to become the player we all thought he could, hes not the finished article yet though mate and some still think it may be a false dawn, my biggest concern would be that rooney at times looks like he may have fallen out of love with the game... great question though..

I know everyone is expecting a bounce from the Klop appointment but think spurs will beat them in a close game. It is still he same group of mugs wearing that red shirt unless clop is going to boot up his laces himself :) )

I also think a draw loss to your boys but hoping we get our selection right. Hard to call as this United team is very difficult to figure out. We need to score first i reckon and come out not looking like we are out on a picnic.

I agree on Rooney. Looks happy being a home maker and taking orders from Coleen and making BBC documentaries and enjoying his wealth. I actually think he gets more excited playing for England than he does for United at the moment. BTW to me he looks out of shape and carrying a few kilos too much weight.

I know people will get riled up about this but i reckon Fergie saw the righting on the wall and was right about wanting him gone but for bonehead Moyes to give him a 5 year deal at a crazy wage.

The issue with him is his good performances are far and few now and rarely do we get a great performance from him. Given his wage you would expect a lot more great to good performances.

I would take Barkeley over him all day, even though as you say he is still not the finished article.

{Ed025's Note - his wages are a joke GCU, and ultimately will prevent him ever wearing an everton shirt again mate..

To be fair Rooney carried us to 7th that year, along with de gea of course. He has dropped off dramatically though.

Its a shame we couldn't negotiate a contract every 2 months with Rooney. That spell when Moyes first took over was great, he gets the contract and drops off almost immediately.

I don't think the responsibilities of being captain are doing him any favours at all. He is a simple guy, giving simple people complicated jobs often means they neglect the basics. Being everyone's friend doesn't make a good captain, it's about being a leader and not afraid to rip into your colleagues from time to time. I would love to hear his feedback sessions with LVG, "everyone's great gaffer, we're all up for it", "thanks Wayne, just what I wanted to hear".

I think 1-1 today, probably with Rooney being a last minute hero.
