Haven't posted in a while but still check the site regularly.

I'll keep it short. I think we should go all out for Veratti if there is even a chance he's available!

Think he would compliment Pogba and Anger well and at 24 we would have him for his best years.

Thoughts?

I can just see Herrera raging around this season he ups the temper of our play.

Woke up this morning to the tabloids saying we are enquiring for Veratti . fantasy stuff but what a fantasy!

That is what you call a dream signing, veratti, pogba, herrera we could probably even win the boat race with those 3

I know the EDs have constantly said Veratti only wants Barcelona but still a nice dream - Veratti or Alexi sanchez would be what you call top level signings although neither will happen I guess . With Milan still saying its 48 mill for Persic now he has gone to China I would be tempted to say go all in for Sanchez although they are different players and Persic seems to be a Jose type player.

I would argue that Sanchez is equally as much of a Jose type player. Tracks back, works for the team, scores goals and creates goals. I suspect Perisic has the edge in that he is more of a traditional winger but can't help but feel that signing Alexis would take the pressure off Lukaku by adding 15-20 goals and 10+ assists.

Verratti would be phenomenal but Kroos would be my preference. If De Gea is intent on leaving for Madrid (and there is no evidence to suggest that he is), getting Kroos as part of the deal would arguably give us the best starting midfield in the league, while retaining a safe pair of hands in Romero.

Whether Veratti only wants Barcelona isn't the real issue. The issue is that PSGs owner flat out refused to sell him to Barcelona and seeing that has one of the richest men on earth, I doubt that United being able to offer more than Barcelona would change anything. I agree he'd be a perfect compliment to pogba and Herrera but it seems highly unlikely to me.

A midfield of pogba, ander and verratti would be all conquering imo.
My dream signing. Hasn't he just employed mino raiola as his agent?
