Must have not been an easy round up, cheers ed. I would have added the Sanchez loan to utd's outs. I know it would be a tall task to consider all loans but this one is quite significant.

{Ed001's Note - I left out all the loans because those players could come back. There were literally hundreds and it would have added hours onto it.}

I figured as much.

{Ed001's Note - plus it is difficult to know the full details of a loan. So impossible to judge how good a job has been made of them. In the case of Sanchez, unless you defo know how much of his salary United are still covering, you can't judge how good a move it is for United.}

Was leaning more towards not replacing weakened areas.
On an unrelated topic, did you catch what Luciano Passirani said about Lukaku?

{Ed001's Note - good point.

Yes I did, unfortunately I didn't have time to do a review of the day as I was up till 3:30am doing a Liverpool podcast with Ed666, but I did see that. I am just wondering why he was suspended and not immediately sacked?}

I thought there were a lot of loans this year. Is that a reaction to the inflated market or FFP beginning to bite for some clubs?

{Ed001's Note - both I think.}

Wow 3:30 am, I don't envy you pal. Good question, maybe it is suspension pending termination, just a matter of crossing all 'Ts and dotting all i's before dropping the hammer.

{Ed001's Note - this is Italy though, they will probably let him off.}

Well they just let Cagliari off, so he’ll probably be back in the studio by next month.
