Interesting little debate on ESPN yesterday between Taylor twellmann and John champion. At one point champion got cut off (technical hitch 🤣) when he was castigating the Glazers. The whole segment highlights the arrogance and naivety of many as to why united fans are not happy and haven't been for years. Twellmann said 'when united sign Haaland for 160m in the summer will those people still be protesting? '' He also said that all teams in America are franchised as if this was a good thing. Really annoys me how the media were happy to champion the fans a few weeks ago but now they are an inconvenience they turn on them again. FYI champion spoke very well so fair play to him.

I don't get this argument about the glazers spending money on players meaning fans can't have legitimate complaints about the way they bought the club and take money out.

Its like someone taking a mortgage out on your house and you paying off the interest and capital yet they still own the house but you can't complain because you get to live there.
