Not Ozil, please, he is not what we need, although I have to say while I think he is a good player, I think he is greatly overrated.
Also would rather see modric or basically anyone but fellaini, and rather have shaw from southampton than baines.
No surprise with Eto'o, always thought that was a non-starter.
with regard to Rooney injury, club should come out and say he is fit and play him, and if its a poor performance or he still claims injury, throw him in the youth team, with a world cup coming up, he will soon change his mind.

All in all, if our transfer dealings were, ozil, baines, fellaini in and rooney out, I wouldn't be shoutinig from the rooftops, but its still better than cleverly, anderson and evra imo.

Eto to united 5 million
Rooney then to Chelsea 32 million
Eva then to olympiacos 8 million
Bains to united 16 million
Nani to psg 18 million
Followed by RONALDO TO UNITED 64 million

We can scrap the first one now?, are you saying we will sell Rooney BEFORE we secure a replacement. Sounds like Ronaldo might be considered a replacement but he last on a very tenuous change.

Tbh ozil would be a fantastic acqusision still very young and has played at the highest level for the past few years.

Not only would he offer the skill and technique were missing in the centre of the midfield but he also has a lot of experience already at a young age.

Also I hope we get baines, baines is easily the best lb in the prem and his stats prove it as he created the most chances in euorpe last year as a full back. Something evra just doesn't do that well.

But I can't get how united value baines and falaini at 28 million, baines alone would cost around 17 and falaini would now cost upwards of 25.

IMO falaini is a great player, and is easily better than cleverly, anderson.

I respect anybody with the confidence to put a name to a rumor. Hope this is true, any idea on a time scale of the Ozil transfer?

It's a bit like a fortune teller predicting so many outcomes that, by the law of probabilities, one is bound to come off. They can then claim they were right all along while conveniently ignoring all the incorrect predictions.

Still, it sounds credible to me so I believe it all, as I do with every post on this site - keep it coming!
