Hello,

I had some info today - again nothing 100% definite or too controversial but thought I'd share. With the Anderson deal very likely to go through now, the club is apparently making firm arrangements for two incoming players. When I say 'firm arrangements' - this means transport, relevant paperwork/admin, medical aspects, and required security/logistics etc.

The voice from within says one of these is Fabio Coentrao - who is likely to arrive as a loan (with a view to buy) deal. This still depends on Madrid however. Furthermore, and perhaps more surprising to me, was potential talk of a deal involving Rooney and Mata. It has been said that with Rooney's contract situation, the risk involved could force the club's hand in the matter. Definitely something I will try to find out about in more detail. Even if things develop and do not involve Mata, the Rooney situation on its own is definitely something of a concern as far as I have been told.

Again - none of this is definite. Thanks for the welcome and good debate :-)

Anderson is a loan to fiorentina. You didn't mention that in your itk post.

I thought it was obvious - but I mentioned Anderson at the start?!

What are you on about? Moyes won't be interested in mata he has too much technical ability. We would more likely sign Gareth Barry to compliment cleverly. Be like having the chuckle brothers passing sideways in midfield. To me to you.

Lets be honest Rooney for Mata swap makes sense. Rooney unlikely to be here next season as he seeks a new challenge - what he reportedly wanted last close season if you believe SAF / Phelan.

As for Mata he's a great little player who obviously needs first team football prior to the World Cup.

It may be that neither United or Chelsea would prefer to sell to each other but bottom line is this could be a go-er.

And that's not ITK its just a person with eyes!

I can see the Rooney deal being a worry, but am confident we would run down his deal instead of selling him to another English club.
