Are the rumors that we have placed a 56 million bid for Cavani true? The problems he's having at PSG is that he wants to be the main striker but they are using him out wide. If he comes to us, I don't see Van Gaal dropping Van Persie, so Cavani is either gona play out wide for us or on the bench. It's a signing I would love, but not one that is essential at the moment.

I personally don't think we were ever in for him unless we get rid of Welbs and Hernandez then still playing people out of position

RVP will be out injured for most of next season so I don't think Cavani would have too much trouble getting game time!

I think he would be a pointless signing. Rather let Wilson have more game time than pushing him further down the pecking order.
