Dustbin - I'm afraid it has. It might not mean much (I recall Thiago signing a United shirt last season before moving to Bayern) - but apparently at the same time he was offered a City shirt to sign and ignored it. I imagine most players being strongly linked with a club they weren't interested in moving to would avoid publicly signing the other teams shirt.

All I think is if the club was going to buy him they would of by now, rumours have dragged on for so long I think there's nothing in besides twitter and paper talk

Dustbin - How long were we linked with Shaw and Herrera before we eventually signed them? The same goes for Fellaini, Berbatov, RVP and Hargreaves in recent times. If there was no interest the rumours would have died away.

Who says there was a bid? He's agreed 3 different contracts, had 2 medicals and been involved in swap deals for evra, nani and hernandez, the deals been on and off 5 times . I don't think any bid has gone in at all as it would of been agreed or turned down

A bid has been made Dusty. It was made via a third party representing MU. It seems there's a standoff between club and player. I hope it can be resolved.

Not sure how you could possibly know Syd, Herrera was signed without any rumours at all, nobody heard about that yet claims of knowing about what the club are up to when it comes to vidal, twitter is full of these stories of agreeing a contract and his agent submitting the offer and I don't believe any of it as the story has changed soo many times

Dusty, the editor has confirmed it. That's how I know we have bid. Nobody knew about Herrera because we were not talking to Bilbao. We activated a clause.
