Reports that rvp needs an operation on his knee

Apparently he needed an operation before the WC, but LvG convinced him to wait. Will we keep hold of Welbeck now?

That would give some explanation for his performances so far.

He has looked so slow and unfit and lacking in quality.

Have said that then maybe Rooney also needs knee surgery.

Both have looked poor, but in fairness so have the whole team and I never thought I would say it but thank god for an international break.

Andy25, fine margins mate. If the keeper didn't make an unbelievable save and the ball wasn't stopped on the line, then we would be hailing RvP as a god today with an excellent brace, both volleys. Fine margins.

How many times have we even hit the target this season?

Syd, fair point, accept the first one the second he badly mirubbish anyway.

The main point was how slow and unfit he looked and his first touch and control never brought anyone into the game.


Personally think the front two may last this season but can't see it being a longer term relationship.
