No chance. We have wasted a golden opportunity this window to act. Either back the manager and let him get on with it and buy players, or sack him and back the new guy. Doing nothing, like we are doing, is quite simply bordering on gross incompetence and negligence.

I would say not buying a single midfielder for years on end was also negligent GCU and fergie and Gill were at the club then.

Well said Deano. Somehow that gets forgotten that the biggest weak spot from 2008 onwards was centre mid and we had zero signings in that area.

The golden opportunity to replace a dinosaur in charge who has not improved us at all in 18 months despite buying some good players but leaving us with a woefully thin squad. It's not difficult to buy in January, it's just usually more expensive.

Fergie and gill had to deal with an inflated debt burden that was costing the club a fortune due to macro global financial issues and only in 2012 were we able to refinance most of it. We never said it publicly but really and no money.

250 million and this shamble is in my opinion just pure incompetence by the dynamic duo.

Everyone thinking that spending is solution, instead of thinking of buying the likes of Bale, Ronaldo, Neymar etc. How about we make Martial, Depay, Lingard the next superstars

Their not a lot of value in January just players who are out of favour at other clubs or someone like Felipe Anderson who going to cost too much.
