Any right hand side midfielders being looked at? Or we will see mata again wasted there.

{Ed001's Note - there are hopes for Depay or Martial to swap between the two wings in the future. Some of the staff are working on Januzaj to try and get him to sort his head out, as a lot feel he can still be a future star for the club.

On future potential, and I am not sure if this is for this summer or a future move, the club have taken a few looks at Benfica's young winger Guedes. I have never seen him play, so I can't tell you if he is any good, but he has been checked on a few times over the last couple of seasons.}

Can understand the future winger role. but how about now? January strong links of Mane/ Silva still exists? Or say Felipe Anderson. as most fans see no real pace down right side and even oppotion know that mata won't beat his defender and cut inside from preventing himself. and it makes defending easy for them.
I will try for mahrez and if not attainable will go for mane.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I assumed you wanted something that hasn't been mentioned before. There is still interest in Mane and Silva, not sure about Felipe Anderson. Mahrez, I believe, has indicated he is not interested in a move in the summer to anyone, and is looking to see how the season starts with Leicester and the Champions League before he considers his options again in January. Mane is still keen on a move to United, so you would think he was the most likely signing, but it has been discussed at length in the past, so I didn't think it was worth going over it again. The only thing that has stopped him joining is Southampton's unwillingness to sell.}

Cheers Ed. I follow site closely and your comments specially so I know what had discussed before. Just curious for if time has changed targets or scouting system has found someone like a hidden gem. As per your contacts, u r best one to ask.

Ed001 you mentioned depay and martial on the wings. Do the club see that as martials position for the coming years or will he eventually become a striker?

{Ed001's Note - short term wide, but long term he is intended to be a striker. At least that is the plan.}

I really like the look of Rafa Silva. Would love it if we sign him and I have a feeling we will. He has great drubbling skill, pace and balance in to open up tight defenses. His end product looks good as well.

Felipe Anderson has all the talent in the world but he seems more Nani to me than Ronaldo. He blows hot and cold. Again a very big fee being asked for him and we would have signed him in January if LVG had managed the team properly. I still think this deal will go ahead in the summer regardless of who the manager is.

Mane has been very good this season but for his talent, the fee being asked is ridiculous. I would stay away.

I haven't been impressed by Depay at all and I don't think he has the pace and balance in tight spaces to succeed and kick on. I would rather see him sold and bring in two wingers in the summer.

I wouldn't say mata would be wasted if he played as a right winger because when he plays as a number 10 he is just as ineffective there as well, if we had a decent winger with pace playing this season instead of mata we would of made the top 4 easily the return from the 40 mill spent on mata is a joke, lvg has been saying we need more creativity and speedy players so hopfully that means mata will be on his way! i'm hoping that someone like dembele, mane, anderson will be signed.

Thanks for the info Ed. Can I just ask you, you say about Guedes, could that of been the reason we decided to scout Benfica, even though we decided against going for Sanches? A lot has been written how we continued to do so, although according to Ed2, we never upped our offer from January.

{Ed001's Note - he was spotted while looking at Sanches, and yes, the continued scouting of Benfica was in large part down to him, though you were still interested in moving for Sanches in the summer. Bayern just stepped in and completed the deal ahead of you.}
