Not exactly the experienced defender we were expecting, while he is undoubtedly strong and good in the air, he is prone to mistakes, lacks discipline, eleven cautions in all competitions this year. Maybe one for the future but I would have to question whether it would be an improvement on what we have at the moment.

If he comes in I could see us bringing in another CB as well. 2 Centre backs, a midfielder, a right sided winger and Ibrahimovic would be the perfect window.

Darmian should be sold!

{Ed004's Note - I'm hoping Mensah claims the right back position this season but I think Mourinho will like Valencia and get the best out of Darmian so it's probably the last outfield position that needs looked at tbh}
