Something tells me Bale will be new no.7 would rather Cristiano home but it just does not seem affordable Tottenham and Levy angry with Madrid 60 mil plus should and would be reasonable enough to do it hopefully it makes Madrid do there utmost to get him therefore making Ronaldo more obtainable but I believe that Madrid would rather go bust right now than lose him. people crying out on here for "world class" would that be Gareth.?

I can't see us paying the upward of 80m for Bale - rumoured levy wants 100m from RM, I expect he would want more from us - maybe United reported interest in the Independent is to scare Madrid into completing the deal and we go after Ronny :)

Wishful thinking!

So let me get this straight. 100 million or so will be rejected in favor of 60 million or so just because Real are not nice people?
Dude. Bale to united is no chance. No chance.

Did spurs not reject an 80 mil offer from Madrid for Bale?

Spurs do not have an issue with the amount of cash offered br RM, it's the structure of payment that is the issue. Also RM want to include players, but some are not interested in going to Spurs. RM could do with selling Ronaldo to fund the Bale and Suarez/Aguero transfers, but perhaps Ronaldo is only interested in a move to OT and we are not offering RM enough to bring him back. If we were to turn our attentions to Bale, then in theory it may lead RM to being more relaxed with the Ronaldo price?

Bale is not going to happen. Move on.
