Not posted for a while. But I'm getting sick of some of the things being said on here.

Wayne Rooney

He wasn't good last night, but he wasn't match fit, or even close, so you can't expect him to carry the England team as usual. But I think one very promising thing is that he looked slimmer and healthier than he has done for a long time, so let's hope he can get back to that 09/10 level.

Anderson

Will everyone please stop calling him fat. He is an absolute tank. If he was overweight, he wouldn't be allowed to play for United. And whilst we're on the subject, I think it's a terrific sign that he's come through pre season unscathed. I think he can be a massive player for us this year. Alongside Carrick in midfield he can provide the penetration through the middle that we lacked last year. Those 10 metre bursts at times are unstoppable.

And finally,

Give Moyes a chance. Don't start the 'we're turning in to a long ball team' bs, because its simply not true. He is trying to introduce a new brand of football into United which is a good thing, you cannot play the Fergie way without Fergie. And I think his high pressure defence could serve us very will this season, against the David Silvas and Juan Matas in the league.

(Also, I agree with Syd, too many clowns on here with stupid silly and blinkered opinions)

I also give the neg heads short shirt but I am not happy flappy either.

The issue with Rooney is his past 'form' and the leaks to the press, if he is committed and wants to spray then he should say so. Both Syd and I have said that we believe we have seen the best of him.

I like Anderson but he does seem to run out of gas around the hour mark. Sometimes he has looked great but sadly far too infrequently. How long is long enough?

Completely agree with Moyes, I'm sure he will be fine.
