Boyah, now that's a good draw. A nice trip to Greece for us is a very winable game, we can't afford to be complacent but I don't think there could have been an easier draw for us tbh.

Chelsea will sail though against Gala, I fancy City to beat Barca which I think will be the major shock of the round.

I think Arsenal getting Bayern has probably helped them as it will give them the chance to concentrate on the league from febuary.

Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, PSG and Dortmund should all qualify too.

Unfortunately that means we will have to play a tough team in the quarters as I can't see any of the smaller teams pulling off a shock.

Shappy.

I think there's a real possibility that we could be the only English team in the quarters.

Barca will beat City, who just don't have the pedigree to beat Barca yet in my humble opinion. Messi will be back rested and Neymar is starting to look good. Barca have the best midfield in world football.

Bayern, the eventual winners for me, will stroll past Arsenal. Arsenal are now showing signs of faltering in the league and a poor Christmas could destroy them completely. I still think we will close them down.

Chelsea is the unknown. Gal away is an awful tie, and with the emotional return of Drgoba I would not be surprised if an inconsistent Chelsea fall.

This draw could not have been any better for United. One of the easiest possible ties with big names guranateed to go out. With some creative purchases in January maybe the Champions League could turn out to be Moyes salvation?

Timbo, mate, if the opposite happens, I will hunt you down, and I will kill you.

I really think City will beat Barca, they aren't the force they were a few years ago. They still have a weak defence, and Xavi although still a class act is starting to show signs of ageing.

Pellegrini has the experiance of playing Barca from his time in Spain and will have a good game plan. I think City will out score Barca in a similar manner they did to Arsenal on the weekend. I think it plays into their hands to play the second leg away on this occasion.

Gala is a tough team to play on their own patch but Chelsea will have more than enough to beat them over two legs.

Bayern will knock Arsenal out though, I think there will be three english teams in the next round along with two Spanish and two German teams along with one French team.

None of the teams that will be left in it will be easy for us, if we get a couple of players who are eligable for the Champions league in January then we may be able to get to the semi finals, but there are too many good teams who are better placed to win it this year than us.

Also if we did manage to pull off a miracule and win it then it would just paper over the cracks and maybe persuade the Glazers not to dip into their pockets in the summer.

I think the draw was good to us, although to be honest I'd have backed us against the majority of the teams we could have ended up drawing.

Agree to an extent - I'd have us as favourites of the English sides to go into the next round, with Chelsea and City 50/50. Arsenal for me are out.

In the next round however, there will be no easy draw and the onus will very much be on Moyes' tactics and the players to deliver if we are to get any further.

Look like you're underestimate everyone even Olympiacos.

City has 50% to beat Barcelona, Football is not about pedigree, u decide inside of the 4 lines.

I think Chelsea is the best team between the 2.

Nick mate you can never underestimate anyone left in the competition as they are all there on merit, but out of all the teams left in it Olympiacios are the weakest team left, but anyone can beat anyone else at this stage. But there is not other team i'd rather have in the next round.

As for Barca, I just don't think they have the same air of invincibility that they had a few years ago, and in this competition that makes a huge difference.

I know they are still playing very well, but you feel they can still get beat. And atm I think where Barca are weakest it is in defence and City's biggest strength is in attack.

I also think City will beat barca and think Olympiakos will be very difficult and hope we have a full and healthy squad. the rest will go as expected, Dortmund has quite a few injuries and it will not be straight forward if they don't get some of them back.
