Why has today shown us we can sell our best player?

2.) 05 Apr 2014
Agree with you about evra but does it not also show that we can do without Mr money bags Rooney??
I'd prefer too cash in on roo rather then van, but think one has to go they don't /haven't works well together this season??
Sure its good to get another win

3.) 05 Apr 2014
We don't need to cash-in on either. We have money to spend and others will be leaving.

4.) 05 Apr 2014
We don't need to sell our best players to get new ones in, that's just stupid RVP is a class act not many out there of his calibre none we can sign and he is the perfect striker for Wilson to learn his trade of

Agree with Katef and Sydney. We don't need and will not be selling rooney or RVP. Good strikers are so hard to find and even harder to get. Look at chelsea with all their money had to go get Eto as the best option available.

I think we might cash in on Hernandez because to be fair to him, the way we will set up after the summer makes it hard for 4 strikers to get enough games.

My preference is Hernandez over Welbeck but I don't think moyes sees it that way.

Oh dear.

One win and the sell RVP brigade is out in force. Perhaps people need to be reminded of who came up with the goods under pressure against olympiakos.

I think Kagawa, Hernandez, Nani, Anderson & Young could be sold. Wilson could replace Hernandez as the 4th striker and Januzaj has replaced Nani. Moyes was looking for Cesc when we had Kagawa at the club. Moyes has looked at Kroos too. So I think we will see this type of player signed with Kagawa making way. Don't get me wrong I am a Kagawa fan, but this is what I think Moyes will do.

Well said Redfaith. With Giggs, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Nani and Anderson all leaving this summer, wages is not a problem, and with the absence of Champions League football next, lining up alongside players of the calibre of RvP, Mata and Rooney will surely provide another draw to any potential signings.

For once in my life I know I am in a minority. Selling RVP is predicated on the reality that we will be keeping Rooney, and hopefully Hernandez who could one again become the predatory striker he was in his first season with Mata, Kagawa, and Janusaj behind him.

And for the record, I have not suddenly been converted to selling RVP, I just prefer Rooney and I don't think there's room for both of them at United. RVP was a great one season purchase, but it was one that papered over the cracks that have now become all too obvious. And then there's RVP's propensity for injury.

I felt this way before this one win, and now I feel it even more.

Yes you are certainly the minority Peashooter.

Pea

You are really going strange mate, first your love affair with Brendan I bleach my teeth rogers and now you want to sell RVP, midlife crisis I reckon :)
