Yeah but after Carrol's slap on Mignolet, I think it's fair to say things even themselves out.

I also don't think they get preferential treatment. Madrid get lots of penalties because they attack at such a pace that opposing players have to foul them. Barcelona set up a camp in opposing areas and eventually someone will get fouled. Liverpool player's movement are very unnerving and keep opposing defenders on their toes, and they end up screwing things up.

The more destructive in attack you are, the more you will worry teams, the more they will foul you.

Be careful gcu before they are on pointing out that all our trophies in recent years have been won with the help of referees and loads of decisions in our favour.

Mick1

They were gifted a penalty and a sending off game off us which basically killed the game off. Suarez and Sturridge have won a bunch of spanish penalties and the rule say you have to be certain to give it.

Can't stand that club and hoping city give them good stuffing next week.

I didn't watch the game, but I expected a 2.1 win for Liverpool and I was disappointed to see two Gerrard penalties on the scoresheet. Especially as so many of my Dreamteam rivals have brought him in.

Meant to say the penalty and sending off against us killed the game off.

They dive more than any other team collectively which includes sterling.

GCU, Demel's goal was a definite foul, so it evened it's self out, Armero also should of been sent off for the foul on Suarez and he handled the ball twice in his own area so that could of been another 2 penalty's.

We're going to hammer City and win the title, sulk it up.

Completely agree with Mick. Sour grapes GCU, you sound exactly like Liverpool fans during the Fergie years. The fact of the matter is, the more you play in and around the opposition's box, the more chance they have of fouling you.

GCU - regarding your comment on next week's game - not going to happen. We were very unlucky to lose to them the first time round and we are playing much better now (excluding today)

God created united, don't forget to wear your little man city jersey next week, he he.

Don't hear from the scousers for days, then they reappear after their team win. It would seem that their first instinct after a Liverpool win is to visit the United page. Very strange behaviour indeed :)
