Have people forgot that last week di maria came out saying he wanted to stay and prove why we bought him. He just wants to play! If he goes it's not because he want to its because lvg wants rid and if lvg wants rid of a player he bought for a club record after one season which he struggled to settle in then my thoughts thoughts about him and probably beasts and maybe the not so real KLOOTs feelings are correct

The general notion as was pointed out earlier on is he may not have directly been LVG choice instead a statement purchase by the club. If this is true then he needs to build his own team and if he wants out and we can recoup anywhere near our outlay then it is what it is.
My sentiments mirror your own though, l too would be dissapointed to see him go especially after his recent statement.

Pep. Your defeated already. I personally think that when the chips were down last season, we were the better team against the Chelseas, citehs, Arsenals, Pools etc. Maybe we needed more time to keep some fluency against the lower teams.
On the whole I admit we were found wanting against the so called lesser teams, but our current crop still don't know each other enough to expect certain runs and covers etc.
We were spoilt by Becks, Scholes, Nevs, Giggs era as those boys knew each other inside out and were all there to keep that impetus in the team. Along with the odd Keane, or Cantona to help brood these younger boys.
To an extent, I'd go as far as say Fergie was a very lucky man to have such lasting chemistry. Now that it's gone, we have to accept that a new era is not just going to be handed to us on a plate. There will be trial and error. And at the very least (at high risk of sounding scouse) transition.

I like a joke about the glazers the same as any man. But do I blame them for what they are doing?? No, do I believe a mutiny against them will only harm us in the long run aswell as the short. Yes.
They aren't doing too bad, in my opinion. We are way more commercial than ever now, and that only sets solid foundations for the next 100 years, not just 10.

Do wear that anticipated Adidas shirt with pride and watch some more highs and occasional lows next season. But be sure of this, we ain't going away. And we will be strong to European heights within a couple of years.
Don't forget all Europe's big teams get these transitions.
I've seen it EVERYWHERE in my 35 yrs.

We haven't progressed in 2 years, we have stagnated. Just because things are changing it doesn't mean they are always for the best.

We still don't know our system, our players, if our manager is the real deal, if Woody knows what he is doing. Basically since SAF left all I have seen is a rapid decline in football quality, millions wasted in the transfer market and a club acting out of desperation rather than any master plan!

We have the wrong manager for the transition. He is old school and not of the Utd mentality which everyone fell in love with. We have the tools to build something amazing, but we are wasting this opportunity.

So Patzi there we have it you don't believe that the Glazers are doing too bad. City's owners have ploughed a billion into the club and surrounding areas, the Glazers have taken a billion out of our club without putting one single penny of their own in. Evil men will always be able to do their will whilst good men just stand back and watch.

Beast ,
We had the wrong man for the transition right after SAF retired and wasted a year and made what was always going to be a difficult situation a lot more difficult . To think now that the powers that be at United could ever have thought that replacing one of the most successful managers ever with a decent enough manager who'd never won a thing is mind boggling . ,,,something akin to replacing Paul Scholes with Tom Cleverley

I don't think it was just fergie leaving.I think gill should have stayed for atleast one more year that was the problem, too much change at once.

You lot went off on a bit of tangent didn't you! My initial point was questioning lvg as the man to take us forward! Also a lack of understanding about why he'd be willing to sell adm! Doesn't make any sense

But how do u know he wants to sell ADM, is it possible he just benched him because he was playing shite every game?. Old school, just because he is ADM doesn't mean he gets to play. In fact the often cringe worthy Young was outshining ADM.
It was just a gigantic kick up the arse, of which he needed.
Di Maria will stay and achieve his worth, the press are clutching at straws.
