Well its clear that valdes is out and Van Gaal is not happy with him at all with refusing to play with the u21's! So let's hope talk of him to valencia is true as it could help us in terms of getting Otamendi (possibly clutching at straws)

valdes struggled to get a game last year even in the cup games .
i wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't recovered from his injury
