Rooney aside I actually thought we played quite well on Friday but then again I was watching the match from a Hooters bar in Cancun so everything looked pretty good. So where's the best place someone has watched a game (other than the stadium):-)

Staying in Mexico, I watched our boys ruthless demolition of Arsenal 8-2. August 28th 2011 i'm Merida (about 4 hours away from Cancun) whilst volunteering.

Witnessed in the volunteer house at 10:30 am, dark rum and coke, surrounded by fellow volunteers, majority of whom supported arsenal or anyone United played. Never forget the sounds of mariachi bands and weeping gooners.

When we demolished Panathinaikos 5-0 in September 2003, I was sat in a hotel bar on Kos Island, in a United shirt, with about 15 passionate Panathinaikos fans who worked at the hotel. Thankfully they were a nice bunch of lads, I wouldn't have fancied my chances if they hadnt been, 15 against 1 :-)

It was not so much the place, but I visited London and watched United vs City in a small local sportsbar surrounded by 10-12 City supporters (I was there first). Then all of a sudden Owen made it 4-3 :) 10 seconds after that I had the bar for myself again.

Also, not a United game, but it ties in with the Hooters thing, there used to be a bar in Manchester where the bar maids wore just skimpy lingerie. Remember watching England play Columbia in the 1998 world in there, when Beckham banged in a free kick, a lovely evening was had by all.
