Just watching highlights of the game v Newcastle. It is really poor to see rooney lack of movement in the box. Several times you saw mata or memphis beat a defender and cross or pass but rooney is stood there on his heels and not in an athletic position to receive the ball . It was apparent throughout that he's not in a fit state to be leading the line.

Hope you are right about Stones and Berahino but am afraid that we won't go for either player.
I have already stated that Stones is worth £35m as he can be another Rio.
Berahino has pace to burn and appears a natural finisher.

It doesn´t matter what forward we buy or "9" we get in the box. As long as they don´t receive clear chances they won’t score. It is just a matter of changing the football mentality. The one and only clear chance Rooney have he scored, and the referee made the wrong decision.
