Anyone else concerned about the lack of pre season we have had so far? Bit of a wasted trip to China from a playing point of view. I know we had Wigan before and have Galatasaray tonight but feel it's a pre season lacking game time and don't want us to start slowly this season.

WRD I agree and would imagine that more game time would have been ideal. Lvg arranged it for more time on coaching. The Wigan game only came about after Jose came in as it was not on the original schedule.
Let's hope it does not lead to a sluggish start.
City have also only played 2 games to date. I must say it seems unusual.

Weve got everton and leicester as well which would make it the same amount of games we played last pre season.

100% agree. Training does not replicate the same intensities and patterns of match play!

It has been poor. Luckily we still have 3 more games. Galatasaray should be a decent test. It's important we take Rooney's testimonial as a serious preseason game and then we have the Community Shield against Leicester. It's not ideal but I think we should be okay.

Luckily none of our first team squad are featuring in the Olympics.

If jose ain't happy with the team's fitness you'd think he'd organise a game behind closed doors.
