Can't see any figures about wages regarding Laporte, just a transfer fee, no agent fees, no add ons, no signing on fee. Must be playing for Pep for free for the 5 years unlike Alexis who cost £100m instantly including dog biscuits entitlements 😂.

{Ed001's Note - you forgot about his hotel bill. Tut tut.}

Pep complained about not having enough money to spend to compete with other clubs. So, Laporte is certainly playing for free for 5 years. Another masterstroke from Pep for convincing Laporte to play for free.

Sorry Ed yes, I thought he was living with Jose in the Lowry 😂.

{Ed001's Note - that would explain why he was so quick to move out. In fact, thinking about it, even being in the same hotel as your boss is not good is it? I bet he just took the first house he saw to get out quick!}

And when questioned Pep said they've managed to buy 6 defenders for their £200m, while others have spent the same on 2 players? To whom was he referring? Has any team spent £200m on 2 defenders? Has any team spent £450m on transfers since Pep took over at City? Certainly not United.

If there's going to be focus on spending then it should primarily be directed towards Man City whose owners seem to be prepared to spend an unlimited fortune on the process of global domination, by investing not only in their flagship team, but in a whole raft of far flung related footballing ventures.
