We need to win, or even lose, in the 90 minutes tonight. With the EFL cup final on Sunday the last thing we really want is extra time. Newcastle are well rested as it is without that as well.

Nah i think I would prefer to win in extra time/ penalties than lose in 90 mins lol.

Just my opinion though.

Thats a ridiculous idea a win in extra time will create an even. bigger buzz for the final to sugest we would be in a better position loosing in 90 mins is just silly.

I didn't suggest I WANTED to lose in 90 or 120 mins. They last played on Saturday so are fully recovered where we play tonight in what is likely to be a high tempo match and play again in 3 days on a huge, energy sapping, Wembley pitch.

Tbf fizz you suggested losing tonight in 90 mins would be more preferable to you winning in 120 mins.
I don't agree with that at all.
Ideally I agree we can win in 90 but if it takes 120 then so be it.
We could have easily lost the 1st leg by a couple so we need to be matching them every step of the way for effort.
We can only play the match we have tonight. Imo Sunday is 100% irrelevant until the final whistle is blown tonight. Only then can the players concern themselves with Sunday.

Fizz deliberately missed what? Its there in black and white are kid "we need to win or loose in 90 mins" i get ure point about it being a high tempo game and the fact we played satday but come on was a silly statement.

Clearly I have written my post badly. Whatever, I know what I meant.
I do NOT wish to suggest that I want to lose under any circumstances. What kind of United supporter in his right mind would wish for that?
