We need to evaluate a game like that with context. With everything going on, having been away in Munich mid week, with a threadbare and patchwork team, that is a good 3 points.

Is a performance like that acceptable under normal circumstances? No, it isn't.

Are there cracks of unrest appearing in front of our eyes? Yes, I think there are.

But we needed a win. And we got one.

Expect some of the other players like garnacho and pellestri to play midweek.

Cant believe we now have 3 left backs injured. I hope reguilon is nothing serious, we need him.

I think some people have missed the fact that last season we lost against Arsenal away, and Brighton at home and only drew against Spurs away. So are in fact only a point worse off than a season where we finished third. Given that our injury list has been horrendous, and off-field issues are still piling up it is not the disaster the press love to make it. I agree with DB, better times are coming.
