Obviously a lot of comments today about just how bad we are, and whether or not the manager is up to creating a winning team in the EPL. I won't add to those discussions.

Last night summed up the season in a nutshell. Spurs get a lucky goal and then sit back for the rest of the game. When Van Der Ven cleared of the line spectacularly you just knew that we wouldn't ever score. The game was dull. Both sides showed why they languish at the foot of the EPL. It was not a good advertisement for English soccer.

It costs me $500 a year to watch the EPL here in the US. I cancelled my subscription last week and do not plan on renewing it when next season starts. Someone suggested I take that $500 and bet it on United getting relegated next season. 16-1 odds.
