Man Utd and PSG battling it out for Ozil apparantly, if true they need to make sure they get there man.

1.) 01 Sep 2013
I can't see him joining us, as much as we could do with him.

2.) 01 Sep 2013
Its Arsenal that are trying to sign him, not us.

3.) 01 Sep 2013
PSG will pay the fee unlike us so if it's true that we want him we've got no chance.

4.) 01 Sep 2013
Why would Ozil come here, Giggs would still play ahead of him? I'm kidding ofcourse

5.) 01 Sep 2013
Its between PSG and Arsenal from what I have read.

6.) 01 Sep 2013
He ain't going to like sitting on the bench all season though, just hope he would rather play in premier league.

7.) 01 Sep 2013
Cant see it either unfortunately, however, if UTD could pull it off it would solve a few problems and relieve a lot pressure on the club!
1 of the best in the world!

8.) 01 Sep 2013
Arsenal are meant to be in advanced talks with him. Can't see us getting him bud unfortunately.

9.) 01 Sep 2013
All three are being linked now according to AS.

10.) 01 Sep 2013
We've got no chance if we have competition for any players as other teams seem capable of paying what the selling club want and then agreeing terms with the player, where as we (woodward) haggle like a dodgy car salesman and couldn't even agree the colour of grass!
i'm finding myself getting more bitter by the hour!

Ozil going to Arsenal absolute joke. Problem is who wants to play for a nobody like Moyes, I hope we finish outside the top 4. Maybe that's what it will take for owners to become serious in the transfer market, biggest club in the world joke in 5 years time when we are languishing in the bottom half of the table. It happened to Liverpool, showed what a managerFergue was to achieve what he did with that embarasent of a squad. Nani, young, giggs, cleverly, Anderson, bebe, Wellbeck. Roy keane would have thrown all of them off the training pitch. Now we are linked with Fellani whilst other so called lesser clubs are buying players that would walk into our team. I feel like Don McClean, today is the day the music died

12.) 01 Sep 2013
Arsenal in advanced talks! Judging by dithering dave comments playing giggs and cleverly is good enough. Had enough of us in this window, embarrassing

13.) 01 Sep 2013
Twitter heavily suggesting Arsenal are on the brink of signing Ozil.

Still not sure whether we should try and sign him or not though as I would much prefer to see Modric at OT. Tom.

14.) 01 Sep 2013
People seem to forget that for all of it's failings, this is a squad that was put together by Ferguson, no-one else. It has been said for years that the midfield wasn't good enough but Fergie and Gill papered over the cracks obviously helped by the merry-go-rounds at other clubs.

Now unfortunately our midfield stars of yesteryear are now too old and it will be time to pay the piper unfortunately.

Like it or not Fergie's persistence with the aging Scholes and Giggs is a massive factor in where we are now. Not good.

15.) 01 Sep 2013
DM said in his press conference that he needs midfield players. I just feel sorry for DM as Woodward has not listened to him. If we don't sign someone like Ozil (who is close to signing for Arsenal) I hope that DM gives a lot of playing time to Januzaj. Zaha. Lingard and Powell. Becasue I can't see anything improving from Cleverly, Young and Valencia.

16.) 01 Sep 2013
Madrid have accepted a bid from Manchester United, but Arsenal are in pole position, United are unwilling to meet Ozils wage demands. It could all change though the deal is still alive.

17.) 01 Sep 2013
Ozil is great, but shouldn't be top priority, as we still need a central creator most. Ozil plays the same positions as Kagawa (in the hole or on the left), NOT central midfield.

Of course if we can get him on the left with Kagawa in the hole behind Rvp or Rooney, that is looking dangerous ( RVP cutting in from right maybe?).

Ozil 84 assists in 3 seasons he's very creative
