Juan Mata set to be offered a one year contract extension. Do any of the Eds no what the plan is for him despite lack of game time?

Also is there any possibility that united could look at a coaching role for Mata in the future? He has lost the pace but is still technically a fantastic player and I feel he could really offer something.

{Ed002's Note - Juan Mata (AM/RW) is out of contract in the summer and has opportunities to continue his career in Italy, Turkey and at at least a couple of clubs in the MLS. I suspect there would be options in England if that were to suit him. Right now as far as I know it remains totally open as to what will happen. In Spain an option exists but they are a second tier team. A contract extension will likely be offered but the player will need to cosider his options. I suspect he will stay.

I have no idea if the player would be interested in coachinh in the future.}
